Lufthansa Moves Cargo & Passenger To
Domodedovo Airport Summer 2008

In a flurry of news from the German flagship carrier this week, Lufthansa said it would move its cargo and passenger flights in Moscow from Sheremetyevo Airport to Domodedovo Airport starting with the Summer 2008 timetable, and that it would enter a partnership with AiRUnion, the Russian airline alliance.
     The move to the new airport, 37 kilometers, (23 miles), east of Moscow, allows Lufthansa to operate with its Star Alliance partners from the same airport. Other Star Alliance members serving Moscow are Swiss, Austrian, BMI, Singapore, Spanair and Thai, according to Lufthansa. More Click Here.

Naresh Jets Into New York
  Entrepreneur and airline builder Naresh Goyal introduced Jet Airways new service from New York City via Brussels to Mumbai scheduled to commence August 5, at a gala Reveal inside the grand ballroom of New York’s Waldorf Astoria Wednesday July 11.

Summer came on waves of pleasure adding a welcome pause in the day’s occupation this past weekend at Darmstadt, Germany reordering cargo priorities to simple things like good food and music and small children under foot.
   A Saturday afternoon in an air cargo garden brought out restorative kindness and fellowship too as Christian Fink, Heide Enfield and Gabi Posniak of Lufthansa Cargo Charter hosted friends and business partners in an understated and totally personal experience.
   The party, this year dubbed 1001 Arabian Nights, has become an annual rite of the season at The Vivarium Tiergarten, a small park and zoo in Darmstadt, Germany with a remarkable collection of animals including exotic birds and other wild life (many have been born and raised at this remarkable facility) housed in a cool shady glen with old trees and natural landscaping that bring wildlife close enough to touch. Emirates SkyCargo Fast Tracks Hahn/Toledo

   Emirates SkyCargo told FlyingTypers that its newly launched weekly service to Toledo, Ohio from Dubai via Frankfurt Hahn and back is a great success so far.
   Emirates is flying the new service with 747-400 Fs that have a capacity of 120 tons.
