AACA
Board members incoming and outgoing take well deserved applause
for a job well done.

They held a
little Christmas Party Tuesday (12/19) as the Air Cargo Association of
Atlanta held a big lunchtime soiree.
A light hearted affair just prior to the
big day December 25, with Santa Claus kicking back as guest speaker, cracking
wise while handing out some gifts including free trips and electronics
and even cash money to the more than 150 in attendance.
But while announcing new board members for
2007 and a new President—the great Harold Hagans, the ATL cargo
bunch once again delivered the spirit of this most beautiful season to
the list of organizations that this dedicated professional air cargo group
supports with outright cash grants and even educational funding.
ACAA supports logistics studies, has created scholarship funds and helps
the needy all over the place.
Some of those educational funds by the way are full funded and will go
on forever at various colleges and universities.
In fact this single air cargo airport organization ACAA has dedicated
more years and money supporting the future growth and development of the
logistics arts than many bigger more powerful national and world groups.

Outgoing AACA Chairman of the Board Rachel Worley
(FedEx) is honored for her several years of outstanding
service as an indispensable force for good. |

New faces going places Hartsfield Jackson International
Airport air cargo team leaders Warren Jones, aviation
development manager and Sarah Berry, aviation development
assistant reveal that in addition to setting new international
tonnage numbers for 2006 ATL will host the ACI Cargo Sessions
early next year. |

advanced by members of AACA during 2006.

A
couple of real beauties Debbie Lanci, regional director,
North America-Martinair Cargo and Kevin Madden, Global
Airlift Services, Inc. take a break under the mistletoe.
Kevin who ran for State office in Georgia this past November
(and lost) was elected AACA Chairman for the next two
years pledging to fill out the full term even if elected
elsewhere.
But when it comes to helping others this guy is the real
deal.
Debbie is a great example of the integration of top woman
and minority executives that fill positions of importance
in the Atlanta business community. |

There is something
touching and quite hopeful that radiates through ACAA.
They are out to do some good and they always
find a way to give back together.
Not a lot of egos bumping each other here
either.
Everybody knows that the job after the meeting
back in the cargo area is getting tougher, but each individual board member
and club attendee also is quite sure that some fellowship on common ground
and nice meal will both feed the mind and soul and lift the community
every time this group gathers.
