Last Mile & Trucker Bankruptcies

Brandon Fried on Trucking

Where in the world is Brandon Fried? If there is an issue impacting logistics you need to know about, don’t bet against the always in motion Brandon Fried of the Airforwarders Association not being on top of it.
Take the case of a spate of recent bankruptcies hovering over the trucking industry in the USA, and the situation moving forward, as 2025 winds down.
Here is what Brandon Fried told FlyingTypers about the situation with truckers:
“The wave of trucking bankruptcies is already tightening airport pickup and delivery capacity in some areas, raising costs and service risks for forwarders. Some shippers are shifting time-critical freight to air and integrator networks, but the real winners will be forwarders who lock in reliable cartage partners, improve visibility, and protect compliance.
“When trucking wobbles, dependable first- and last-mile service becomes the air cargo industry’s most critical advantage.”
Brandon never leaves an issue blowing in the wind.
But as someone who is on the road almost everywhere in the world all the time, what he shares here is not only the emis, Brandon shares knowledge that helps everyone get ahead in our industry
So with thanks here, comes advice from us to stay smart and informed after the 2025 holiday season; make a resolution to attend the first important air cargo themed conference of 2026 that takes off in sunny warm Orlando, Florida
The AirCargo Conference 2026 that opens at the Omni February 15 will bring together industry leaders to discuss global transportation challenges.
“The AirCargo Conference aims to explore insights into navigating complex global transportation challenges and to provide a platform for networking among all actors in the air cargo supply chain,” Brandon declared.
“It is backed by reputable associations such as AEMCA, ACI-NA, and our Airforwarders Association.
“This event is a must to attend is necessary as we move forward in 2026.
“Early bird registration is available, offering a discount of $100 for those who register by December.”
Register here. For all other details, you can visit the official AirCargo Conference website.
