Too Cool For School
Too Cool For School

Emirates SkyFresh jumps out in April offering some new and innovative solutions that appear to fit nicely with the advanced infrastructure in Dubai and the carrier’s global force of wide-bodied aircraft.

Vent 16 Tons & What Do You Get?

At the top of the list, the “SkyFresh Ventilated Cool Dolly” offers to fill your airway bill for perishables that require constant circulation of fresh cool air.
Cool Dolly keeps it cool and fresh, Emirates says, with a ventilation system capable of handling 16 tons of perishables that are constantly awash in fresh air  “filtered and circulated inside the Cool Dolly refrigerated interior,” EK said.

All The Cargo That Fits

“Ventilated Cool Dolly,” EK adds, “fits a variety of belly hold/lower deck Unit Loading Devices (ULDs), including pallets, in its interior.”

Levels Too Cool For School

Emirates SkyFresh has three levels: Emirates SkyFresh, Emirates SkyFresh Breathe, and Emirates SkyFresh Active, which offer varied levels of cool chain protection for different kinds of perishables.
Emirates SkyFresh is geared towards temperature-tolerant fruits and vegetables with quick ramp transportation and thermal protection maintained with Emirates SkyCargo’s White Cover blanket.
Emirates SkyFresh Breathe offers protection for temperature-sensitive perishables such as fresh cut flowers, ready to sell cut fruits and vegetables, and fresh fish and includes prioritized ground handling as well as the use of the aforementiond Ventilated Cool Dolly.
Emirates SkyFresh Active brings the highest protection for perishables that cannot withstand any temperature deviation using specialized, temperature-controlled containers during transportation.
And now for a little 16-ton music
