As the AirCargo Conference is now underway at the beautiful Omni Champions Gate in Orlando, the event backed by influential associations including AEMCA (Air and Expedited Motor Carriers Association), ACI-NA, and The Airforwarders Association ready a full program with thought leaders that can be seen gathered post golfing and display booth building today, for the getting to know you opening event now.
“We are delivering the most progressive insights to our attendees,” said Brandon Fried, Executive Director of AfA . . .
"Welcome aboard, we are up, up and awaay" Brandon said.
Opening day in Orlando for the big AirCargo Conference included a welcoming evening event that left at least two pilots stilted above the crowd although no reports of any flight interruptions at Greater Orlando Aviation Authority: Orlando International (MCO) and Executive (ORL) Airports. Relaxed networking, some adult beverages and buffet plus all smiles as things got underway with the reassuring presence of (from Left in photo above)—The International Air Cargo Association TIACA Dir. Gen. Glyn Hughes, AfA Board Member Sandy Gregory and “I Am A Camera” shutter jockey, Scott Case.
This morning (Monday) after a sumptuous breakfast of champions AirCargo Conference got down to business.
Keynoter Kendra Tanner had some advice, “I appreciate the opportunity of talking about my journey. It’s okay to fail, overcome adversity, be authentic and true to yourself. Surround yourself with smarter people and celebrate your wins. Continue to put yourself out there so you can have these amazing journeys as well.”
Kendra also spoke about taking the company private during the pandemic. She said the process of taking on a capital partner was, “Like getting a colonoscopy and an endoscopy simultaneously, without medication.”
