Same Day United Matters

Same Day United Matters

“The United Cargo team is excited about our enhanced participation in the time:matters Sameday network,” said Jan Krems, President of United Cargo.
“We know the importance of delivering fast, standardized, and highly reliable transport for time-critical shipments, and we believe United Cargo’s extensive U.S. flight network is a perfect fit for increased cooperation in the solutions time:matters provides for customers.
“My thanks to the time:matters and United Cargo teams in Germany for the creativity and effort it took to make this collaboration happen.”
Franz-Joseph Miller, Managing Director of time:matters lays it on the line:
“Our goal is to provide our customers with a Global Sameday Network.”
“By combining with United Airlines, time:matters is taking a major step forward. Our industry customers in particular will now benefit from a standardized high-speed transport solution to and from the U.S., with stable prices for the entire transport solution.”

Scenario For Success

“Suppose there is an urgently needed technical spare part from southern Germany that is booked to fly afterhours, late into the night,” Franz-Joseph said.
“The goods are picked up the following morning and brought directly to Frankfurt for customs clearance and then are shipped on by air via Houston (U.S.) for onward delivery to the American border town of El Paso (U.S.) in southern Texas. From there, the cargo is delivered directly to the production site.”
“Frankfurt to El Paso in less than 24 hours as a cost-effective alternative to on-board couriers,” Franz-Joseph said.
