Once upon a time in 1975, we filled up our 1973 Karmann Ghia with newspapers and drove from a printing plant in Massapequa, Long Island, New York, to the cargo area at JFK International Airport. Air Cargo News (ACN) was born.
     Today we are still here as the longest continually published air cargo media in the history of air cargo with the same Editor/Publisher/Owners .
     And yes, we still have our Karmann Ghia. In fact, we were out to breakfast at Point Lookout this Memorial Day Weekend, enroute to an air show above the skies of Jones Beach, a wonderful beginning to Summer 2018. Jones Beach is a beautiful strip of miles of white sand easily visible from each and every flight landing at JFK.
     Thanks to you, dear readers, our ACN tradition of delivering a top-notch quality publication has excelled for the past 43 years, continuing with FlyingTypers starting in 2001.
     In 2016, Air Cargo News FlyingTypers Publisher Geoffrey Arend was named FIATA Fellow by the largest group of organized freight forwarders in the world.
     FlyingTypers in 2018 is in the air, everywhere!
