A Heart In Frisco

AJ Thiara

AJ Thiara, VP of Operations at Frisco, Texas-based US Cargo Link, definitely has his heart in Frisco, nearby Dallas, and also Houston, amongst other cities.
After Hurricane Harvey hit on August 17, it was US Cargo Link that provided trucks helping United Airlines Cargo deliver relief supplies from the airport to a shelter set up in the Convention Center downtown.
“Our first truck, a 40-foot trailer, stalled out in the flooded streets,” AJ declared.
“We brought on a second trailer and with the help of the Houston Police Department were able to deliver five full trailer loads of emergency supplies to the Houston Convention Center.
“We lost two trucks during that effort, but as compared to what our friends and neighbors suffered because of Harvey, we are just glad that we were able to help.”
AJ also noted that Air Cargo Americas is an ideal venue to renew friendships and make new ones.
“We talk and email all year long but putting a face on our business colleagues and partners deepens our friendship and understanding and I am certain that will never go out of style,” good guy AJ Thiara said.
