Tension Convention At WCS

Brandon Fried     Wondering, while extending Shana Tova (Happy New Year) wishes to our dear friends, Where in the World is Brandon Fried, President of U.S.-based The Airforwarders Association?
Around suppertime at the end of the first day of IATA's World Cargo Symposium in London, we found out.
As usual, Brandon offers a window to what's up and what matters, this time at a major air cargo gathering.
“I'm indeed at the World Cargo Symposium in London this week about to have dinner with our mutual friend, Mike White," Brandon writes.
“This is a well-attended conference with almost 1,300 in attendance at today's plenary.
“Lots of interesting discussions about digitalization, carbon reduction, capacity and labor.
“The ocean carriers (Maersk, CMA CGM & Maersk) buying planes and entering the air cargo business remain the gorilla in the room.
“Lots of tension in the air and some rich discussion as a result.”
