newsletter graphicRE: Richard Malkin Was A Genius

Dear Geoffrey,

I know that you will miss Richard “Dick” Malkin as much as Phyllis, Ian, and myself.
He was a friend of nearly sixty years as well as a unique contributor to the rapid expansion of the Irish economy through his ideas for development of the Shannon Airport and surrounding region in conjunction with the world-renowned Brendan O’Regan, also no longer with us.
We will seriously miss a great personal friend.
It should never be forgotten that we awarded Dick Honorary Fellowship in our IIFA, the National Freight Forwarders Association of Ireland.
We will always remember our dear friend and colleague.

Best wishes from Ian and myself to you and your lovely wife.
Sean McCool

Sean McCool and Ian McCool

Dear hearts and gentle people, Sean McCool (Dublin, Ireland) and Richard go way back to the 1950s, when they met by chance in Shannon.
Now happily in his eighties, Sean, a true visionary and transportation pioneer, looks back at a lifetime of service to Ireland and air cargo. He was the recipient of the “Transport Leader Award” at the prestigious Irish Logistics & Transport Awards - 2017 (held March 30, 2017), in Dublin.

Always,
Geoffrey
